Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Veran, an AI agent that autonomously builds, manages, and optimizes LinkedIn advertising campaigns on your behalf. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Veran on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. The Service

Veran scrapes your website, designs campaign strategy and creatives using AI, and creates and manages LinkedIn ad campaigns through the LinkedIn Marketing API. Veran can operate in an autonomous mode (acting within the budget limits and guardrails you set) or an approval mode (proposing actions for you to approve). The service is provided as an alpha/beta product and may change, break, or be discontinued.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and comply with LinkedIn’s own terms and advertising policies when using Veran.

3. Connecting LinkedIn

To run campaigns, you connect a LinkedIn ad account via OAuth. You authorize Veran to access that account and act within it on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to manage any ad account you connect. You may revoke this access at any time from the Settings page or from within LinkedIn.

4. Ad Spend Authorization & Liability Release

By connecting an ad account and authorizing campaigns, you authorize Veran to create, manage, and spend advertising budget on your behalf through the LinkedIn Marketing API. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Veran may make autonomous decisions about campaign targeting, bidding, and creative optimization within the budget limits you configure.
  • Your LinkedIn ad account will be charged for actual ad spend up to the budget limits you set. Ad spend is billed directly by LinkedIn to your linked payment method — Veran does not process these payments.
  • You can pause campaigns or revoke authorization at any time through the Settings page, but you remain responsible for spend incurred before you do so.
  • Veran is not liable for campaign performance, lead quality, ad rejections, or business outcomes.
  • You release Veran from liability for advertising charges incurred within your configured budget limits, and you are solely responsible for reviewing those limits before authorizing spend.

This authorization is a real, money-spending action. Ensure your payment method is valid and your budget limits are correct before you authorize a launch.

5. AI-Generated Content

Campaign copy, targeting, and creatives are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or claims that do not fit your business. You are responsible for reviewing everything before it goes live and for ensuring your ads are truthful, lawful, and compliant with LinkedIn’s policies. Veran does not guarantee the accuracy, compliance, or effectiveness of AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Veran to:

  • Advertise unlawful, deceptive, or prohibited products or services.
  • Violate LinkedIn’s terms, advertising policies, or any applicable law.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular advertising result.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veran and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or ad spend, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Veran in the three months before the claim, or USD $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Veran harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your ads, your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Veran and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including liability, indemnification, and disclaimers) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
